Cabin life and Father's Day weekend

In the winter we're stuck inside with not a lot to do. In the summer we have the opposite problem - there are so many fun things to do that by the end of the weekends we fall in bed exhausted. Except wait - that's when work starts.

We went to the cabin the previous two weekends and this weekend enjoyed a busy time and beautiful weather in town.

Busy summer life - soaking up every moment

Last Sunday we saw an outdoor performance of the musical "Once Upon a Mattress"
and packed a picnic dinner with my mom.

Library time!
We're touring lots of different parks this summer

For Father's Day we went to our first Twins game as a family. Our seats were in the very last row of the stadium but it was a beautiful day, we had a lot of fun together, wore our Twins gear, ate hotdogs and peanuts, and sang "Take Me Out To The Ballgame."

This morning we took daddy out to Yo Yo Donuts for breakfast. Here we are waiting in line.

Lots of yummy, sugary donuts!
This afternoon we went to the Stone Arch Bridge Music Festival. We saw a lot of classic cars, ate lunch,
and listened to two bands.

Happy Father's Day everyone!
