On Friday, Mike had a rare day off so we took a day trip in our own city - venturing all the way to St. Paul. We started at the Children's Museum, then had lunch at the Blue Door Pub, then went to the Como Zoo and Conservatory. It was a really fun adventure and again - by the end of the day we were all tired.
Keeping with the festive theme we had our own Easter egg hunt in the yard on Saturday. The kids loved hunting under leaves and shrubs to find their treasures. Then we colored Easter eggs that evening.
Today the Easter bunny visited our house and brought the kids candy and Play Mobile camping sets, we hosted my parents for breakfast, went to church, and then to a party for lunch and another family party for dinner. I'm exhausted just typing this! I love to be busy having fun with my family - I hope that we're building some great memories for the kids. I know that I'll remember these special times with my favorite people. What a joy-filled week!
